Got the C-130 packs on the last 9.99 sale - wonderful value for money. HIghly recommended!
May just have to indulge in a couple of other models I wouldn't have thought about paying full price for, too...

Re: How to fly helicopters?
I don't know how I managed to learn how to fly them... I think I must have just hopped into the FS98 B206 and messed around until I'd got the hang of it! Depending on which helo you're flying, I think it's quite easy to keep them under control so long as you're gentle enough with them. The tricky st...

Re: UK2000 Manchester screenshots
I think the function for terrain following runways existed for quite a long while in the betas of FSX, it was always said up until quite close to release that it would be a feature. Now whether it was implemented in the end but just hasn't caught on (quite unlikely knowing the FS community) or was ...

Re: Formation Training...
All this is not really relevant to this thread as the thread involves high precision programming and ghost airfield design and there is no actual flying involved...Everything you see is AI Traffic and as far as I know, I am the first to make AI traffic actually fly in formation from take-off to lan...

Re: American Carriers and Boats.
I have REX2. How do you do that? Sorry for being thick. Once I've selected the options do I save it and load it, or is it automatic. I've been fiddling with it today but it didn't seem to work. Click the texture set you're looking to change - in this case, ocean water then wave animation - select t...

Re: American Carriers and Boats.
Nope, standard DX9, still serving me well! Oh, and those shots also show a different package (scenery), but that uses the same model. The addon that's just been released is an AI Nimitz and oiler ship, which can be added with AICarriers2 in a variety of different configs. One of the best freeware ad...

Re: Lightning crash
What are the thoughts on the ejector seat? Did it fail? If so is that as unusual as it sounds? John it failed to fire on all 3 go's Loads of questions being asked - one of them is - should civvies flying mach2 jets? Considering the Lightning's safety record, they seem to have done pretty well up un...
